Basic Dressing

3 Tbsp. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
½ cup flax seed oil (may substitute sesame, olive, safflower or sunflower)
1 clove of garlic crushed (alternative is to cut the garlic clove into pieces and let them sit in the dressing, removing them right before serving)

Additional herbal seasoning suggestions:

Oregano: for more Italian flavor

Thyme: for a mild herbal flavor

Basil: for a strong herbal flavor

Cayenne: for a “hot and spicy” taste

Preparation:

Place all ingredients in a bowl. and whisk together with a fork. Store in the sealed container in the refrigerator. Makes about 2/3 cup.
