Poster Contest Guidelines
Every year we put a call out for local artists to submit work for our poster contest. We choose one submission to be the poster image for the Market that year. The winning submission’s artist receives public recognition and a prize of $250 as well as a contract that gives the artwork and all proprietary rights of the artwork to the Mount Vernon Farmers Market. We will consider any 2-dimensional image, in correct format, of an original artwork created with any medium. What we are looking for is poster-ready artwork in jpg (jpeg) form that represents the Mount Vernon Farmers Market. We are not looking for a finished poster with words describing the market’s activities or times. Your artwork will be used in the creation of the poster that the Mount Vernon Farmers Market designs.
