Upcoming Events – June 2017

Let’s talk about entertainment at the Mount Vernon Farmers Market in June. Where else can you go to listen to top-quality, local entertainment, while enjoying a beautiful summer day? And all for free? You will be introduced to some new local talent that you will love, as well as your favorites.

Want to know who is playing and when? Here’s this month’s fabulous line-up:

June 3rd: LaVenture Marimba Band Read all about this extraordinary group of middle-school musician on their website.

June 10th: Peter Ali A local Native-American flute player that you have to hear to believe. This website has an example of his music and an interview with this talented man.

June 17th: Raveis Kole This looks like an exciting duo! From their website: Raveis Kole (Laurie Raveis (Ray-viss) and Dennis Kole), present a fresh yet timeless singer-songwriter interplay, a chemical reaction that ignites the human spirit by melding Raveis’ caramel smooth, emotive vocals and percussive, groove driven acoustic guitar rhythms with Kolea’s fingerstyle and harmonic explorations.  The award winning duo’s new album “Electric Blue Dandelion” has risen into the Top 40 / AC Top 200 Chart (FMQB), Top 10 Radio Indie and is charting on Roots Music Report and college radio (CMJ

June 24th: Ronnda Cadle “Rock in an Easy Kind of Way”. From Sonicbids website: Ronnda Cadle is known for the melodic hooks she coaxes from her guitar. With over 20 year’s experience playing her original compositions before live audiences across the U.S., this musician from the Seattle area has developed a devoted fan base.
